Iran is prepared to restart nuclear negotiations with Washington provided that it is treated with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's foreign minister has stated.

Abbas Araghchi stated exclusively dialogue worked, and disclosed fresh requests had originated from mediators to reopen discussions with the Trump administration. He asserted Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Tehran could not yet authorize the UN nuclear inspectorate to access struck enrichment centers for safety concerns.

Navigating a Difficult Course

The foreign minister is navigating a challenging course since Iran wishes not to be seen to be acting from a position of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had arisen stronger militarily and mentally from the coordinated strike on its nuclear sites in June.

He was speaking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to enrich uranium domestically that it will never give up" – the primary cause of the deadlock in the previous talks.

Earlier Talks Abruptly Concluded

The earlier sessions of negotiations between the US and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and bitter termination on 12 June when Israel, with American backing, attacked Tehran's atomic facilities in a fortnight-long engagement that culminated with Donald Trump claiming the locations had been eliminated. Afterward, Western states exercised their right to restore UN-wide sanctions, but Iran insists they have not had a significant effect.

Magic Solution Suggested

Iranian officials claimed they felt they had achieved a "magic solution" to the uranium processing matter in previous talks, when it was settled an Iran-based consortium with American involvement could refine atomic fuel. The two nations would have been able to claim victory since domestic enrichment would have persisted and the US could be assured that Iran's atomic project was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been settled in the negotiations that American atomic experts could operate within Iranian territory, but that was a natural consequence of the partnership suggestion. Representatives claimed repeatedly they had achieved a deal with Washington's diplomat Steve Witkoff only for the arrangement to fall apart due to "detractors in America".

Existing Position

Iran's diplomats declared the cooperative arrangement was now no longer available, but it seems highly likely the suggestion could be reintroduced in certain ways if negotiations restart.

The US president last week claimed he had been getting signals that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but in private Iran's diplomats say they are not yet getting clear proposals from America either straightforwardly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as Qatar, the Egyptian leadership, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been accused of inactivity in the aftermath of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Tehran says diplomacy is not part of a spectacle.

Negotiating Stance

In his speech to the gathering, aimed to depict the US as a controlling nation that abuses the idea of worldwide standards, Araghchi declared the fortnight-long engagement showed the dispute could not be ended by military means. He asserted the strikes commenced with a Washington's ultimatum for an complete Tehran capitulation and culminated with an unconditional call for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is assured the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were executed with complete American awareness and cooperation, making trust challenging to rebuild.

Diplomacy Continues the Final Answer

The foreign minister stated: "Tehran was not the one that had deserted negotiations; it was the United States and the European states that had always tried to dictate their desires during the discussions. Negotiations can still be active and continues the ultimate resolution to address disputes, but its requirements, regulations and principles must be adhered to."

"If they address to the nation of Iran with the language of respect and honor, they will get a response in the same language."

Repair and Recovery

In what is characterized by Iranian officials as the conflict of recovery and rebuilding, Araghchi stated he was certain Iran's military capacities "are considerably enhanced than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. All our capabilities have been rebuilt. We acquired multiple understandings from this engagement; we have discovered our personal limitations and the shortcomings of the opponent."

He continued: "We managed to survive this war. Our enrichment knowledge, which they aimed to eliminate, remains in place. The installations and gear, if destroyed, will be rebuilt; what is important is the determination of the Iranian people and then the unity of the country that they targeted, but were unable to break. The citizens of Tehran have become stronger, more integrated, and more backing of the government and the country in the face of this assault."
